Crossfire, LLC was founded by Ezra Lee in 2001 and is headquartered in Ignacio, Colorado. Ezra is now our president and the leader of over 1,000 team members working together to meet our client’s needs. The Crossfire team is comprised of individuals with extensive experience in the oil field and natural gas industry. Our team is made up of District Managers, General Superintendents, Superintendents and Foremen that specialize in all of the divisions and distinct areas that we service for our clients. We know that our company is the sum of our people and that the talents and dedication of each person brings value to the whole effort. Meet our Team Members:
Ezra E. Lee
Ezra is the founder and owner of Crossfire, LLC. He is responsible for making the company what it is today. Crossfire, LLC began as a seeding/reclamation company whose sole scope of work was reclaiming pipeline rights-of-way and well site locations. Today, Crossfire, LLC is a very diversified company with divisions that include gravel hauling, heavy equipment transport, hydro excavation, crane services, roustabout services, pipeline construction, road and well site excavation and construction, well servicing and maintenance, as well as the seeding and reclamation division that literally planted the seed for Crossfire’s emergence.
Carlos started his career in the Oil & Gas Industry in 2009. His background in emergency management, incident investigation, training and supervision in both the governmental and private sectors uniquely qualify him as a Lead Safety Coordinator for Crossfire. Carlos is dedicated to continuous improvement and is committed to ensuring a safe work environment for Crossfire workforce and its clients.
Lucas is Crossfire’s Project Estimator. He comes to Crossfire with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration from Colorado State University. He is in charge of all project review, plan analysis, work scheduling and cost tracking. His attention to vendor relationships and financial detail ensure that Crossfire’s clients receive the utmost service. Lucas is a capable leader with a proven talent for guiding the Crossfire team through projects from inception to successful completion.
Joe is the Accounts Payable Manger for Crossfire. He has broad business and management experience in both the private and governmental sectors. Joe manages a staff of two and oversees all accounts payable and vendor relations functions for Crossfire.
Gabe is the Commercial Building Construction Superintendent for Crossfire. He brings 17 years of team leading and commercial construction experience to the table, Gabe has worked with Crossfire since 2009. His combination of knowledge, experience and ingenuity allows him to complete projects in an efficient and quality fashion. Gabe maintains up-to-date construction management practices and is proficient in code compliance. His approach affords Crossfire clients a successful and team-oriented project delivery every time. He is a MBCEA Certified Metal Building Erector and prides himself on open communication, hard work and embracing change to "make things go". His motto is: "investigate deeply – look for solutions creatively"
Doug is Crossfire’s Superintendent of Seeding and Reclamation Services, which covers our entire nine-state geographic area. Doug keeps current on all the latest in technological advances in the reclamation industry, and utilizes these technologies with the utmost respect for our environment.
Since the early 1980s, Marc has focused his career in the field of excavation. His work on major construction and reclamation projects across the United States, as well as in the San Juan Basin has established Crossfire, LLC as a leader in road and well site construction. Marc is our Superintendent of Excavation and Construction.
Kirk is Crossfire's Foreman of Hydro Excavation Services. Kirk manages a sizeable fleet of HydoVac units for our company across our entire service area.
Ron is Crossfire’s Superintendent of Facilities Construction. He brings 30 years of experience to our company and is capable of planning and implementing facilities projects from small to large. Since joining Crossfire, Ron has successfully completed numerous tank battery, well tie, water/co2 flood and various other major facilities projects.
David is Crossfire’s Superintendent of Trucking for our West Texas District. He oversees all trucking operations such as Hydro-vac and water hauling for the entire west Texas region.
Kari has been with Crossfire since 2008 and is the Company’s Payroll Manager. Kari holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with nine years of experience in public accounting before joining the Crossfire team. Kari oversees a payroll staff of six people and is responsible for oversight of all payroll functions, retirement plans and processing of payroll taxes for all Crossfire employees.
Carol joined Crossfire, LLC in 2011 as our Human Resources Administrator. She and her staff are responsible for all human resources functions within Crossfire, including recruiting and onboarding or all personnel. She also manages all personnel databases such as ISNetworld and PEC for the Company. Carol holds a Bachelor's Degree in English and Communications from Fort Lewis College and has a professional Human Resources certification. She has over 15 years of experience in human resources management.
Brad Knapp Jr
Brad joined Crossfire, LLC in the mid 2000s and is the District Manager of our Colorado Western Slope District. Brad's primary client focus is on Crossfire's client relationship with Chevron in the geographic areas of Northern Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. He is based in Rangley, CO.
Wayne Koerner is Crossfire, LLC’s Senior Project Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager. He comes to Crossfire with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming and has sixteen years of experience in construction management. Wayne’s professional expertise provides Crossfire with leadership in estimating, budget projections, quality control, scheduling, design review, customer service, client development, contract administration, and project and team management.
Brook is the Corporate Office Manager for Crossfire, LLC. She holds a Masters Degree from the University of Phoenix in business administration and accounting. Brook is responsible for managing all aspects of our headquarters and regional offices, including nine administrative employees. She oversees all A/P, A/R, payroll, financial decisions, financial reporting, and human resources functions.
As one of only two General Superintendents of Special Projects for Crossfire. Isaiah oversees several crews in multiple states that are engaged in larger and more complex pipeline and facilities projects. He is experienced with steel, stainless steel, fiberglass and Fiberspar processes. Isaiah began his career in the oil and gas industry in the late 1990s. Based in Oklahoma and East Texas, Isaiah is a valuable member of the management team and is responsible for the Crossfire, LLC roustabout services, pipeline construction, facilities projects and station-related work crews.
Derek is our Business Development Manager. He comes to Crossfire after 25 years in the real estate, finance and small business world. His experience, combined with a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics and Finance from New Mexico State University, has prepared Derek to recognize and cultivate new business opportunities for Crossfire. It also allows Derek to add significant value to all of our existing clients through open communication, a focus on service and an emphasis on building long-term relationships. He is a fifth generation native to the San Juan Basin and has served as a Director on several local boards and community activities. Derek is well suited to promote Crossfire's integrated business model and identify creative ways to better support the companies that we serve.
Jay is Crossfire’s Superintendent of Gravel Pit Operations. He comes to us with quality experience in heavy equipment operations, construction, surface management, surface compliance and an extensive background in storm water management. Jay is a welcome asset to our company and has strong ties to the local community. He is a committed and driven member of our team.
Jonathan is the Information Technology Administrator for Crossfire. Jonathan had over ten years of experience managing computer networks and experience working with other energy service company’s before joining Crossfire. Jonathan is responsible for coordinating the activities of Crossfire’s technology suppliers and overseeing day to day information technology operations.
Pancho is Crossfire’s General Superintendent for our West Texas District. He comes to Crossfire with extensive experience in all aspects of oil field facilities and pipeline construction. Having worked in excess of 20 years in the Permain Basin, Pancho also lends his management expertise to Crossfire’s maintenance and service divisions that serve our clients in his region.
Brian's experience in the oil and gas industry began in the early 2000s. Brian supports Crossfire's HydroVac (or Hydro Excavation) services. Brian manages a fleet of 20 power units in multiple states.
Randy is Crossfire’s Colorado Regional Safety Coordinator. He coordinates all training and maintains all training records as well as provides a professional interface with our clients to coordinate and satisfy safety requirements. As a former Assistant Professor of Safety for San Juan College School of Energy in Farmington, NM, Randy brings a unique experience base to both our company and to our industry. Combining academic rigor with practical certifications brings a level of training to Crossfire that is unmatched in our industry. Randy’s credentials are many and include Certification as an OSHA-Certified Outreach Trainer, Master PEC/Safeland Trainer Certification, Defensive Driving Instructor Certification, and First Aid/CPR Certifications. Larry is our Superintendent of Trucking Operations across the country for Crossfire, LLC including water trucks, transport trucks, gravel trucks, and hydrovac trucks. He brings extensive experience in civil construction and transportation to our company.
Rodney T. Scott
Rodney is the Commercial Division Manager for Crossfire, LLC. He brings thirty years of experience in both commercial, and residential construction, to the table. His expertise includes bidding, negotiating, and the supervision of projects from start to finish. He has worked extensively with a multitude of Government Agencies, from the local to the federal level throughout the Four Corners area, and is well versed in all construction regulations and safety procedures. He supervises and builds a core team of employees capable of turning out a timely, quality, product for our clients.
Bobby began his career in the oil and gas industry in the early 2000s. He is Crossfire’s Assistant District Manager for the Colorado Four Corners District. He is responsible for a variety of Crossfire services and clients and oversees a number of Superintendents and Foremen in their everyday service of Crossfire clients in the areas of well servicing, cranes and roustabout services.
Dale is Crossfire’s Corporate Materials Manager. As the central purchasing contact for Crossfire, LLC, Dale is an integral part of the management team. He has managed inventory control systems since the early 1990s and his experience is a valuable asset to our organization.
JB joined Crossfire, LLC in 2009. He is the District Manager for the Colorado Front Range District. JB is responsible for all operations in the DJ Basin, Powder River Basin and Wind River Basin in Wyoming and on Colorado's front range.
As Crossfire’s General Manager, Drew is responsible for all day-to-day operations of our regions, business units, safety programs, human resources and policies. Drew holds a B.S. in business management and uses his 27 years of service in the public sector to manage Crossfire. Drew began his oil and gas industry career in 2008 and has become an invaluable asset to our Company. Drew is responsible for developing and implementing Crossfire’s most important policy and program – SAFETY. Cole is our Superintendent of Roustabout Services and Crane Operations. He leads our Artificial or Pump Lift Division throughout the San Juan Basin. Cole's attention to detail, oversight and knowledge of the systems, ensures service excellence for this division.
Jesse is the Superintendent of New Construction and QAQC for Crossfire, LLC and responsible for QA, QC and QMS processes and policies. He also serves as an evaluator for Operator Qualifications through his certification by Veriforce. Jesse manages construction of compressors, well site facilities, and pipelines. He plays a daily role in upper management activities for Crossfire, LLC and assists in estimating and project bidding.
Curtis is our District Manager for the East Texas District. He is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations in East Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi. Curtis is a licensed contractor in the state of New Mexico and state of Louisiana. He owned and operated his own construction and excavation business based in Durango, Colorado before selling the business to partner with Crossfire, LLC in 2008. Curtis is based in our Carthage, Texas office.
Brian is the District Manager for the West Texas District. Brian has been with Crossfire, LLC for four years and has extensive experience in pipeline and facilities construction. He is a native of Texas with 15 years of management experience and is responsible for multiple crews and ongoing projects. Brian is based in our Midland, Texas office.
Donna has been with Crossfire since 2008. She plays an important role in the Company’s payroll department having started as our receptionist. She is familiar with much of the activities that take place in our Corporate Headquarters and is always willing to assist other departments with their day-to-day activities.
Pancho Willis is the Texas Regional Safety Coordinator. He is based in our Midland, Texas office and oversees safety practices and policies for all projects in Texas and Oklahoma. Pancho has been with Crossfire since 2008 and is dedicated to improving Crossfire’s safety culture.
Brad is the equipment manager for Crossfire, LLC. He is a ASME certified mechanic. He has no small task of tracking, performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our entire heavy iron and vehicle fleets. Brad and his staff have a combined total of over 50 years of mechanic experience to ensure our equipment is available to meet the demands of our operations and exceed the expectations of our clients in all Crossfire regions.
